After multiple postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Met Gala finally returned on Monday (September 13), summoning the hottest celebrities and public figures du jour for fashion’s biggest night out. The theme of the evening was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” in celebration of the Met Costume Institute’s forthcoming exhibit of the same name.
