“Drag Race” Girls Go Full Diva in VMAs-Inspired Makeup Tutorial

"Oh yeah. I, uh, love Madonna."

It’s VMAs season, and the RuPaul’s Drag Race girls got the memo.

Jan, Lemon, and Cheryl Hole—all beloved queens from three different editions of VH1’s Emmy-winning reality TV franchise—teamed up to celebrate this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, airing this Sunday, August 30. Their task? To RuCreate an iconic VMAs makeup look of their choosing over a video call from their respective homes.

“We’re international divas!” Lemon quips in the video.

Needless to say, the trio rose to the occasion. Jan, who competed on Season 12 of the original series, gave us her best Ariana Grande à la “God Is a Woman.” Drag Race U.K. legend Cheryl opted for Lady Gaga’s bloody iconic “Paparazzi” look from the 2009 VMAs. And Lemon, who made her Drag Race debut on Season 1 of Canada’s Drag Race, chose to emulate Madonna’s Marie Antoinette-inspired “Vogue” look.

Don’t worry, Jan. We’re not over it either.
