In the immortal words of user @maplecocaine, Twitter has a different “main character” every day, and the goal is to never be it. This past weekend, the main character was Demon Twink.
The gay man in question rose to infamy after DJ and event producer Ty Sunderland tweeted about a “DEMON twink” who’d caused a stir at his “Britney boat” queer dance party in New York on Friday (July 30). According to Sunderland and multiple attendees, the unnamed twink refused to leave the stage during the party, stayed in the VIP section after the party ended “getting his ass ate like out in the open,” and threw a drink at Sunderland, damaging his DJ equipment.
“Honestly I wouldn’t have cared if he didn’t throw a drink at me and fuck up my microphone and DJ equipment,” Sunderland added, which, mood.

It probably goes without saying that Gay Twitter™️ leapt at the opportunity to exorcise Demon Twink:

Some folks joked about an onscreen adaptation of Demon Twink, with one particularly committed Twitter user Photoshopping a Deadline article about a fictitious Ryan Murphy series starring Troye Sivan as Demon Twink. Zola screenwriter Jeremy O. Harris even clarified that he would not be participating unless Sivan was on board.

With Sivan’s name being thrown around left and right, it was only a matter of time before actor-singer himself chimed in. Spoiler alert, he isn’t not down to play Demon Twink:
literally so what if I got my ass ate on a boat in New York, sue me

Of course, this is New York’s queer nightlife scene we’re talking about, so we did get some quality Demon Twink drag from RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Aquaria:

After more than 24 hours of Demon Twink discourse, Sunderland kindly called for an end to the chatter and requested that the infamous twink remain anonymous.
“I don’t wanna know,” he wrote. “I just hope he never throws drinks at DJ equipment again.” Cheers to that!
